pdf The structure of the Taryn thrust zone of the eastern side of the Tompon depression of the Pre-Verkhoyansk marginal trough
This article examines one of the poorly-studied territories of the Pre-Verkhoyansk regional trough, the Tompon depression, where the seismic surveys carried out by JSC Yakutskgeofizika revealed the definition of two zones of the Kitschan-Tomporuk and Taryn thrust hidden under Neogene-Quaternary strata. The authors supplemented previously performed constructions and obtained new data useful for a wide range of researchers. The Kitchan-Tomporuk and Taryn thrust zones are considered, the manifestation of Kimmerian tectogenesis are studied on the example of the Taryn thrust zone. The Kimmerids belong to one of the main epochs of tectogenesis in terms of the formation of oil and gas traps of the Pre-Verkhoyansk marginal trough, the Verkhoyan-Kolyma folded region, and the Arctic shelf. The structures not affected by Cenozoic folding are of primary importance. Among the thrust-type structures, the most promising are the thrusts and ramps. The Taryn thrust is one of the promising objects in the search for hydrocarbon accumulations. In its structure there are thrust plates that do not go out to the erosion section.

pdf  Energy return on invested for tar sands and oil shale. Experience of USA and Canada
The article discusses the energy return on energy invested for tar sands and oil shale. A brief overview of methods of development of these sources of hydrocarbons and quantitative parameters of developmental projects are shown. A preliminary calculations of energy return on invested for production of hydrocarbons from tar sands and oil shale, and energy return on invested for production of light oil from the oil produced using such method are carried out.

pdf  Preliminary calculations of energy efficiency of oil, gas and light oil derivated products production in Russia
At present, Russian oil companies are making great efforts in the field of optimum rational consumption of energy in fields, it led to increase of energy efficiency as a Russian oil and gas production as whole, and as individual companies in particular. According to these calculations, the energy efficiency of oil production in Russia varied for different producing companies, and in 2012 was in the range 20-35.

The allocation of a new category of energy profitable recoverable reserves is proposed, the principle of calculation of this category is considered. The position of energy profitable reserves in the current classification of reserves is shown.
